Enoch Wu

Enoch Wu is the founder and managing director of Forward Alliance, a Taiwanese NGO.

Forward Alliance's flagship effort is a civil society-driven service program that trains community organizers in emergency preparedness, empowering citizens to play a direct role in enhancing Taiwan's resilience.

Mr. Wu served on Taiwan’s National Security Council from 2017 to 2019, where his portfolio included homeland security and critical infrastructure protection. Prior to joining the NSC, Mr. Wu led an Executive Yuan interagency task force to review the government’s protective security policies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wu spent a decade in the financial industry, working primarily for Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. He is a graduate of Yale College and a reserve NCO under Taiwan’s Army Special Forces Command.
