Thomas Laffitte

Thomas Laffitte is a Research Fellow at the Brussels Institute for Geopolitics, where he works on European political economy, geopolitical risk and the politics of enlargement. Before joining BIG, Thomas worked as a foreign correspondent based in Budapest and Kyiv, covering politics and international affairs across Central and Eastern Europe. His reporting appeared in leading French publications including Le Figaro, Mediapart, Le Grand Continent, and Le Monde diplomatique. He is currently completing a PhD in political economy at the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna and at Sciences Po Paris, where he also teaches.
